How much do IECA's services cost?
Our advice is completely free for you. We charge the educational institutions as their official representatives. You only pay the course tuition at the same price you would pay going directly.
What English level do I need?
For English courses, no prior level is required — we accept complete beginners. For vocational programs IELTS 5.5 is required, and for university IELTS 6.0 to 7.0. We help you reach the level you need.
Can I work while I study?
Yes. The Student Visa (subclass 500) allows you to work up to 48 hours every two weeks during term time, and unlimited hours on holidays. The minimum wage in Australia is ~$24 AUD/hour.
How much does it cost to live in Australia?
It depends on the city. As a reference: in Brisbane or Gold Coast a student needs approximately $2,200–$2,800 AUD/month to live comfortably (accommodation, food, transport). Sydney and Melbourne are more expensive.
How long does the whole process take?
From first contact to your arrival in Australia: 3 to 5 months on average. The longest part is the visa (4 to 8 weeks). We start as early as possible so everything is sorted with time to spare.
Can I go with my partner or family?
Yes. Your partner (de facto or married) and children can accompany you on the same visa. Your partner can work and children can attend public school. We advise you through the whole process.
